Smokin' Hot Inserts

Norell’s Optimizer Inserts™ (go to online products/accessories/optimizer inserts), are precision adapters that hold 3mm, 4mm or 4.25mm NMR tubes inside a 5mm spinner turbine. They are available for Bruker and Varian spectrometers and do not include the spinner turbine. This Patent Pending device is very useful and the perfect accessory for running NMR experiments with salt gradients.

At least you removed the cigarette from the girl's hand in the June 30 C&EN ad--a step in the right direction. Next question is, what does she have to do with NMR tubes? Who does your ads? Yes, I am female, and yes, I do NMR and was put off by the graphics...

Hi there :-) We try to be original and different from others in the NMR world of advertising. The object in the girl's hand is a "Smokin' Hot Optimizer Insert", not a cigarette. In no way are we promoting smoking cigarettes and in no way should anyone be offended by any ad. It is simply a play with words and graphics to get your attention. When being innovative and taking risks, not every ad can make everyone happy. Be sure that we value the opinion of the NMR community and we will continue to push the envelope with our advertising. We want to make your eyes happy with our advertising your research improved with our products.

I used these with 3mm tubes in my 5mm spinner and they worked great. Thanks for helping me with my problem.
